Technology Specialist II (Hybrid) - Orlando, FL

Atwell is seeking an experienced Technology Specialist II to join our team in a hybrid role based out of our Orlando, FL office. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both in our office and remotely, while providing superior customer service and technical support to our employees nationwide.

  • Respond to technical assistance requests from employees in person, via phone, and electronically, addressing hardware, software, account, and printer issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical challenges, communicating technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Install and provide ongoing support for various software applications used within the organization.
  • Follow and enforce company processes and procedures, logging all support tasks in the ticketing system.
  • Assist in maintaining the company's network and infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, file system security, and password management per company policies.
  • Set up, deploy, and manage workstations, servers, networks, printers, and other IT assets, maintaining accurate inventory tracking.
  • Stay current with system information, changes, and updates, supporting Mitel VoIP phone systems and configuring desk phones as needed.
  • Provide technical support for AutoCAD, design software, servers, backup systems, data replication, and network infrastructure across the organization.
  • Offer after-hours support for critical systems when required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate setting, performing the essential functions outlined in the job description.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware from Dell, HP, Cisco, Extreme, Konica, Xerox, Toshiba, Oce, and Canon.
  • Proficiency with MS Server 2008, 2012, and 2016, MS OS Win10, MS Office 2010, Office 365, and Active Directory.
  • Strong networking knowledge and comprehension, with excellent technical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Autodesk software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel as assigned and needed.
