Position: Account Manager - Utility Management

Location: Remote (State of Residence must be one of the following AL,CA,FL,GA,IL,MD,MS,NC,NJ,OH,OR,PA,SC,TN,TX,UT)

About Role: As an Account Manager, you'll play a vital role by acting as an extension of property management teams and serving as the designated utility expert and trusted advisor to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture professional relationships with key personnel on assigned client accounts.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries via email or telephone within 24 business hours.
  • Manage monthly resident billing, ensuring accuracy and meeting KPI standards.
  • Conduct Client Portal Training for on-site team members, both new and ongoing.
  • Assist in the setup and training of new clients added to your portfolio.
  • Collaborate with property managers to achieve mutually beneficial billing solutions.
  • Monitor meter health, ensuring proper functionality, and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Conduct quarterly intentional calls with each property manager to enhance service quality.
  • Resolve concerns and improve processes through effective problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with the Client Success Team to provide an exceptional client/resident experience.
  • Support Customer Service escalations within specific SLAs.
  • Maintain accurate records and updates within our CRM platform.
  • Adapt to consistent change and contribute to continual process improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Solid work ethic and high level of professional integrity.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure, both individually and in a team setting.

Work Environment: This role operates in a professional remote office environment

Physical Demands: The position involves long periods of sitting, working indoors on a computer for the entire shift, and intermittent lifting of 25 lbs. (office supplies).

Expected Hours of Work: Generally, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Additional days and hours may be required to meet the demands of the role.

Education and Experience:

  • B.S. degree preferred.
  • 5 years of account management or similar work-related experience preferred.
  • Must have a good driving record.
