Carolina Industrial Products is seeking to hire an Account Manager to manage existing customer relationships as well as win new business. As an Account Manager you are on the frontlines of customer service and sales for our company. This is a highly autonomous traditional sales role where you are practically running your own business.

The starting pay for this position is a base salary plus commission. We also offer generous benefits including health, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance, 9 paid holidays, paid vacation time, 40 hours of paid sick time each year, and a SIMPLE IRA plan with match. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ACCOUNT MANAGER

As an Account Manager, you are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our customers. You will spend the majority of your time in the field calling on customers. When you're not in the field you will be behind a computer working on thorough communication with our customers and other people in the company. You will also be generating quotes and talking on the phone. With your outstanding customer service skills our customers are excited to work with you.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Sell new and used equipment
  • Sell service
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives and goals
  • Develop new business with existing and new clients
  • Look for solutions to offer customers that help them out while creating revenue
  • Forecasting and creating reports
  • Communication internally between sales, service, and operations as well as externally with customers
