Job Description

1st shift Industrial Electrician/Journeyman Machine Repairer

Hours: 7am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday

This is a temp to hire position starting out at $18/hr. - $22/hr. depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical/electronic aspects of manufacturing equipment and facilities
Machine rebuilding, repair and troubleshooting
Preventative maintenance
Welding, moving equipment
Machining parts

Qualifications:

Must possess a Journeyman Millwright card and/or Electrician’s card (dual trade is a plus)
Must have experience general machine repair with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting skills
Able to read electrical blueprints/schematics
Familiarity with national electrical codes
PLC background desired but not required
Having a basic understanding and knowledge of layout and wire control panels is a plus
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Must have own tools
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
