Job description

A national company with a facility in the Plymouth, MI area is currently seeking several experienced Machine Tool Electricians for long term opportunities with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for experienced Machine Tool Electricians looking for a company that offers excellent work / home life balances, good work environments, and competitive rates.


Machine Tool Electrician rates are anticipated to be in the $28-$35/hour range based on each candidatesโ€™ experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate.


Qualified Machine Tool Electrician will have most (if not all) of the following skills and experiences:

  • 3+ years of recent / relevant Machine Tool Electrician and panel wiring experience
  • Solid skills with reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Independent capabilities for control panel layout, installing components and wiring devices including PLCโ€™s, VFDโ€™s/drives, power supplies, terminal blocks, etc.
  • Experience with electrical panel rework and upgrade integrations.
  • Expertise in testing and troubleshooting control panel wire circuits.
  • Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
