Schedule:

  • Monday โ€“ Friday
  • 6 AM โ€“ 4:30 PM

About the Role: As a CNC Machinist at Valley Machine Tool, Inc., you will:

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC Mill machining centers.
  • Apply your knowledge of machine shop procedures, mathematics, materials, and layout techniques.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Ensure precision and accuracy in all machining tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
  • High school diploma or GED.ย 

Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience setting up and operating CNC mills and other machine shop equipment.
  • Expert in G-code programming with in-depth knowledge and understanding.
  • Ability to use machine shop measuring equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Toshiba Mills or Tosnuc Controls preferred.

Typical Week:

  • Program, set up, and operate mills and various machine shop equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and maintain good housekeeping practices.
  • Study blueprints and customer specifications to determine setup requirements.
  • Verify accuracy of machine settings and programmed control data.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and maintenance policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the quality and accuracy of processes to produce optimal finished products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
