Job Description

Job Summary:

The Marketing Director, Special Services for StrideCare will support specialty service lines within the StrideCare healthcare portfolio. At this time, the two service lines include Podiatry and Fibroid healthcare units. The Marketing Director, Special Services will be responsible for driving growth in patient volume for all locations across North and South Texas.

Success will be achieved through a mix of business-to-business (B2B) and direct-to-consumer (D2C) initiatives. Focus will be placed on how to best engage patients using a variety of means including digital marketing, paid search, paid social, social media, news media, promotional campaigns, education, advocacy, and direct outreach to local communities. In addition, significant focus will be spent creating materials to help sales representatives build relationships with the referring physician community and/or industry/healthcare partners with the goal of growing referrals into these business units.

The position requires strategic and creative thinking, outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills, proven success working within and across departmental teams, creating engaging and inspiring content, and having a thorough understanding of the need for ROI reporting to demonstrate the benefit and value of any marketing campaigns or spend. The position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer for StrideCare and will work as an extension of the marketing team already in place.

Performance will be measured through regular reporting of key metrics related to lead generation, patient conversion, consult and procedure volumes, and increased activity in markets and service lines targeted for growth.

These duties are to be carried out within StrideCare’s policies and applicable laws including but not limited to budgeting, performance reviews, expense management, planning, directing work, teambuilding, conflict resolution and discipline, and addressing any issues or concerns, where appropriate.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage the marketing efforts to support assigned service lines within the StrideCare healthcare business.
  • Assist in creating and managing goals for quarterly performance management.
  • Manage all forecasting and budgeting for marketing spend.
  • Develop metrics and measurements to quantify results of marketing initiatives and campaigns – adjusting where necessary to maximize return on spend.
  • Partner with operations team to ensure optimal efficiency of any aspects of patient experience, referring physician experience, and/or local marketing and advertising/promotional efforts.
  • Ensure brand alignment in the development of all marketing and/or sales collateral (D2C and B2B) for both internal and external audiences.
  • Develop strategic marketing plan and channel/campaign mix (e.g., print and digital advertising, collateral material, paid search, SEO, social media, website content, reputation management, direct mail, radio, television, etc.) targeted at growing our brand and volume in all target markets.
  • Act as a Brand Champion, ensuring that all StrideCare business units are promoting and building upon established brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Effectively collaborate with IT on all technological enhancements which impact the patient experience and/or our ability to measure/manage the marketing or outreach function(s).
  • Oversee development of special events which seek to build and grow the reputation and referral base for assigned business units.
  • Support the outreach team with marketing materials, presentation support, and/or branded collateral or materials to support growth and relationship building.
  • Work creatively to continue to enhance the patient experience so that StrideCare and its affiliate brands continue to differentiate themselves from the competition.
  • Develop and foster relationships with current and future consultants in varied areas of expertise to supplement and support in-house marketing resources.
  • Work in close collaboration with members of all StrideCare marketing, physician outreach, and patient outreach to ensure continuity of care and service to the entire StrideCare organization.
  • Proactively promote an environment of accountability and performance measurement.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

At this time, the position has no direct reports, but that may change over time. At the start, this position will provide overall leadership and strategic direction, as well as content development and execution, to support all internal and external stakeholders for these specialty service lines within StrideCare.

Required Skills / Abilities:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of related experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Demonstrated results relevant to this position.
  • Experience using a CRM tool such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
  • Experience using suite of Microsoft Office Products including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Ability for limited travel within major markets across the State of Texas (minimal – less than 10%). Primary position is based in Dallas.
  • Knowledge and experience with healthcare, insurance, and billing practices, compliance, HIPAA, enticement, anti-kickback, and other referral-based guidelines unique to the healthcare environment
  • Experience or knowledge of podiatry, vascular, fibroid, or arterial healthcare practices is preferred, but not required.
