We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Warehouse Architect/Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our organization's data warehouse infrastructure. This role requires expertise in data modeling, database management, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data integration techniques. The Data Warehouse Architect/Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our data warehouse meets the organization's business requirements and supports data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Design and architect scalable, robust, and high-performance data warehouse solutions that meet business needs and data governance requirements.
• Develop data models, schemas, and database structures optimized for analytical querying and reporting.
• Implement best practices for data warehousing, including dimensional modeling, indexing strategies, partitioning, and clustering.
• Design and implement ETL processes to extract data from multiple sources, transform it into a unified format, and load it into the data warehouse.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure the timely and accurate transfer of data from source systems to the data warehouse.
• Integrate data from disparate sources, including relational databases, flat files, APIs, and streaming data sources.
• Establish data quality standards and procedures to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data within the data warehouse.
• Implement data governance policies and controls to enforce data security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor data quality metrics and perform data profiling and cleansing activities as needed.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of the data warehouse, including query performance, data loading times, and system resource utilization.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through query optimization, indexing, partitioning, and other tuning techniques.
• Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and address issues affecting data warehouse performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and BI developers to understand data requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
• Document data warehouse design, architecture, and processes, including data models, ETL workflows, and system configurations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data warehousing, database design, and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database management.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing platforms (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google Big Query, Snowflake).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
