Essential Functions
  • Design, develop, and maintain the company's enterprise data warehouse architecture.
  • Define logical and physical data models that support operational reporting, business intelligence, and analytics.
  • Establish standards for data modeling, naming conventions, metadata, and documentation.
  • Design scalable solutions capable of supporting future business growth and acquisitions.
  • Design and oversee ETL/ELT processes that consolidate data from DMS, financial, CRM, telematics, and third-party systems.
  • Develop strategies for loading, validating, transforming, and synchronizing enterprise data.
  • Optimize large-scale data movement and processing.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies for data integration and orchestration.
  • Define enterprise data warehouse standards and governance practices.
  • Develop processes to improve data quality, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to establish master data management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company security policies and regulatory requirements regarding sensitive business and customer data.
  • Design data structures that support dashboards, KPIs, operational reporting, and executive analytics.
  • Partner with business units to understand reporting requirements and translate them into scalable warehouse solutions.
  • Optimize query performance and reporting efficiency.

Qualifications
Required
  • 8+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise database solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience designing or maintaining enterprise data warehouses.
  • Advanced SQL development and performance tuning expertise.
  • Experience with dimensional modeling (Kimball or Inmon methodologies).
  • Experience designing ETL/ELT solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture principles.
  • Experience integrating multiple enterprise systems.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, or similar enterprise database platforms.
  • Experience with SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Informatica, IBM Data Stage or similar data platforms.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools.
  • Experience integrating ERP or dealership management systems such as IntelliDealer, CDK Drive, Procede Excede, or similar enterprise applications.
  • Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and enterprise integrations.
  • Familiarity with data governance, master data management, and data catalog solutions.
  • Experience in commercial equipment, construction equipment, transportation, manufacturing, or dealership operations.
