Job Overview:
At Alen Corporation, we are on the hunt for a standout Manufacturing Test Engineer, to play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our manufacturing processes, by developing and implementing efficient and effective testing procedures. You will work closely with Alen’s engineering team understand new product capabilities and define test procedures. You will then be the focal point for working with Alen’s manufacturers to ensure test procedures are understood and appropriately incorporated into the manufacturing production process. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining high product standards and optimizing production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand product specifications and testing requirements.
• Develop and implement test plans and procedures for new and existing products.
• Identify test fixtures and equipment to perform functional, reliability, and performance testing.
• Conduct tests to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure product compliance with quality standards.
• Analyze test data and provide insights to improve product design and manufacturing processes.
• Develop and maintain documentation for testing procedures, equipment, and results.
• Work with suppliers and vendors to source components and equipment for testing.
• Provide technical support to production teams and resolve testing-related issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation in manufacturing processes.
• Travel to manufacturing sites to establish strong relationships and review production and assembly processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in manufacturing testing, preferably in a high-tech or electronics industry.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards such as ISO 9001 and IPC standards.
• Experience with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Knowledge of industry-specific testing standards and protocols.
• Experience with environmental testing (e.g., temperature, humidity, vibration).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to speak Chinese is a plus.
