Automation Engineer

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. This is a Contract to Hire position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 12+ Months Contract to Hire

Location: Cumberland, RI

Salary: $60.00-$65.00/Hourly

Role: Automation Engineer

Primary Skills: Engineering

Role Description: TheAutomation Engineermust have at least 6+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain automation systems for manufacturing processes.

- Lead CQV activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

- Integrate automation solutions into filing line operations for enhanced efficiency.

- Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support for automation systems.

- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

- Proven experience in automation engineering and CQV.

- Strong knowledge of filing line operations.

- Proficiency in PLC programming and industrial control systems.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in Automation or related field.

- Experience with validation documentation software.

- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies.

- Knowledge of industry standards such as ISA-95 and ISA-88.

Education: High School/Associate Degree/Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 6+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
