Door Installation Contractor

Responsibilities:

Installation of exterior and interior doors, including patio sliding doors, double French doors, storm doors, and security doors.

Retrieve necessary parts and supplies for installations, ensuring all materials are on hand prior to scheduled appointments.

Conduct measurements at the customer's home to ensure precise fitting and alignment of doors.

Schedule installations with customers, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts.

Ensure installations adhere to safety standards and regulations.

Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or questions regarding the installation process.

Requirements:

Proven experience in door installation, with expertise in a variety of door types including sliding, French, storm, and security doors.

Proficiency in measuring and fitting doors to ensure proper installation.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules and coordinate with suppliers.

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and suppliers.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to customer locations.

Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines and customer expectations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification or training in carpentry or door installation.

Previous experience in a contractor or construction-related role.

Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to door installations.

Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve during installations.

Flexibility to accommodate varying customer schedules and project requirements.
