Role

As a Production Supervisor (also known as Manufacturing Supervisor, Production Manager), you'll oversee production activities in a chemical, extrusion, and drying area. This critical supervisory role requires leadership, technical skills, safety oversight, and communication skills. Key duties include production planning and control, line responsibilities, team leadership and development, production monitoring, quality and productivity goal setting, operating procedures development, personnel issues management, and safety oversight.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; an AA degree or higher is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing plant, ideally supervising a medium-sized hourly team (20 or more).
Technical skills including troubleshooting experience in electrical and mechanical equipment, ideally with knowledge of chemical processes.
