Job Summary:

The Repairs Supervisor will lead a team responsible for the repair of Filson products, ensuring timely and high-quality repairs to uphold customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in production environments, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, support, and direction to the repairs team, including performance management and coaching.
  • Monitor and optimize repair processes to meet daily goals for order completion, shipping, and receiving.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality programs and initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Communicate regularly with customer service, retail, and management to provide updates on repairs status and address any delays or issues.
  • Establish and uphold organizational standards for safety and production processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to the role, such as approving timecards and vacation requests, and upholding company policies.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; additional training or certification in lean manufacturing/six sigma preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience in a production environment.
  • Knowledge of production and inventory control systems, including MRP Production Controls, Kanbans, and line balancing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Lift or push up to 25 pounds regularly
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to view and read text on computer screen and printed material, as well as view details on physical objects within 2 feet.
