Maintenance Supply - Parts Planner

Premier Placements is currently interviewing for a Maintenance Supply-Parts Planner direct-hire opportunity with a well-established organization in Reidsville, NC. As the Maintenance Supply-Parts Planner you will be responsible for maintaining an adequate and accurate inventory of the supply room and maintenance warehouse. Also supervises part room clerks and schedules planned maintenance.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (must have some schedule flexibility)

Salary: $70,000/ year + yearly bonus incentive of up to 10%

Responsibilities:

• Directs and trains 3 Parts Inventory Clerks, and provides CMMS training to maintenance personnel. Reports to the Maintenance Manager.
• Sources/purchases parts and supplies working with a weekly budget of $125,000.
• Keeps an accurate, viable inventory in CMMS; maintain all work records.
• Schedule and coordinate parts for planned maintenance.
• Order parts, key in requisitions and invoices, turn requisitions into purchase orders, and send to suppliers for orders.
• Oversee Hazardous waste and Universal waste. Ship out UPS, FedEx, or freight as needed.
• Deal with vendors and sales representatives getting quotes and setting up new parts.
• Scan paperwork to Accounting. Assist in ensuring food-safe, high-quality products are produced that meet or exceed all regulatory and legal requirements.
• Assist in maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role in Manufacturing.
• Intermediate MS Excel proficiency.
• Great communication, work ethics, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, ability to work in a team environment.
