Position Overview
Job Type: Full-Time Contract
Location: Hartford, CT 
Pay Rate: $30–$36 per hour
Your Impact

As an Aircraft Maintenance Training Coach, you will deliver hands-on and classroom-based instruction that directly enhances technician capability, safety standards, and operational performance. Your expertise will strengthen technical skills across the network and support the continued excellence of world-class aircraft programs.


What You’ll Do
  • Facilitate hands-on technical training in maintenance environments

  • Deliver on-the-job and just-in-time training to technicians

  • Provide aircraft-specific classroom instruction

  • Conduct Knowledge Skill Assessments to evaluate technician proficiency

  • Coordinate with site leadership to address and resolve training-related issues

  • Offer technical guidance and troubleshooting support for training challenges

  • Assist in establishing and reinforcing a strong culture of learning across training facilities

  • Implement creative and innovative training methods to improve processes, tools, and team effectiveness

  • Develop and monitor solutions to training gaps and performance challenges

  • Support Learning Advisor responsibilities as needed


Required Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of corporate aviation experience or equivalent hands-on aviation maintenance background

  • A&P License or Repairman’s Certificate (internal candidates only)

  • Strong technical troubleshooting expertise

  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and instruct adult learners

  • Experience conducting Knowledge Skill Assessments

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with corporate aviation product lines

  • Experience supporting training within a network or multi-site environment

  • Background in developing or enhancing technical training programs

Pay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
