A Day in the Life of:

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Fosters and maintains an uplifting work environment and a positive image of SOAR365.
• Drives customer satisfaction by ensuring flawless customer service, quality workmanship and responsiveness to issues and requests.
• Supervises and directs all aspects of the Grounds Maintenance field activities including scheduling, provisioning, crew dispatching and crew coaching.
• Supervise and perform work with a SOAR365 grounds crew in the day-to-day operations which include, but is not limited to the following activities: mowing and trimming of grass at assigned locations; weeding: edging sidewalks and concrete edges; policing all grounds for trash and debris; irrigating designated areas on property as needed; trimming and pruning of shrubs and trees; application of herbicides associated with grounds maintenance (if licensed); leaf clean up throughout various properties; planting shrubs and trees in various areas to include VDOT rights-of-way; snow removal from sidewalks, walkways, steps and doorways, setting up fencing, demolition of various structures as required.
• Performs or assists with administrative tasks such as invoicing, maintain personnel records, payroll entries, expense reports, daily time sheets
• Assists Henrico County Mobile Crew as needed to meet Departmental goals.
• Collaborates with the development of quotes and/or proposals for growth opportunities in commercial grounds and associated services.
• Collaborates with SOAR365 staff to support employees and promote an inclusive environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must have three (3) years grounds maintenance or construction experience and must have at least two (2) years supervisory experience in this field.
• Valid Virginia driver's license, DMV record insurable at normal
• Proficient oral and written communication skills for positive and clear interaction with managers and employees and for completion of documentation in a timely/accurate manner.
• Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to persuade and motivate others and invoke a positive work atmosphere.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to do repetitious bending at the waist, kneeling, and overhead lifting.
• Ability to operate and control small gas-powered tools and mowers.
