Job description

If you enjoy working outdoors, consider joining our team of Golf Course Grounds Maintenance at Dupont Country Club. The Grounds Department at DuPont Country Club is currently hiring people to contribute to our breathtaking property. Whether it’s helping to maintain one of our three pristine golf courses and practice areas, preparing our state of the art tennis facilities for play, or beautifying the landscapes encompassed throughout the property, you will discover a feeling of self worth and accomplishment working in the fast paced, team oriented environment of the Dupont Country Club Grounds Maintenance Staff.

Positions open as soon as April 2025!
This seasonal position pays a competitive rate of $15.00 an hour and specific duties include but are not limited to:

  • Equipment operation (riding & walking mowers)
  • Daily course set up (changing hole locations, emptying waste & moving tee markers)
  • The use of powered hand equipment such as string trimmers and backpack blowers
  • The use of landscape tools such as shovels, rakes (specifically for sand bunkers) & pruners
  • Hand watering, mulching, sodding & basic inhouse construction/renovation projects
  • Maintaining 20 outdoor tennis courts


We are looking to hire people that have the ability to:

  • Work in a SAFETY FIRST environment
  • Lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time while also being able to bend and twist
  • Perform physical labor outside in all types of weather
  • Be respectful & courteous to members, guests and co-workers
  • Work in a multicultural team oriented environment
  • Flexible & adaptable
  • Work Monday-Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and every other weekend 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. along with holidays (minimum 40 hour work week)
