Job description

United Communities has an opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance position.  We offer excellent benefits including: medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, paid time off, and paid training.

The Grounds Maintenance responsibilities include:

  • Maximize the curb appeal of the property.
  • Keep parking areas, sidewalks, planted areas and lawns clear of litter and obstruction.
  • Assist in snow removal as required.
  • Perform fall clean up, rake leaves and protect plants that require additional care.
  • Actively contribute to the spirit of team work at both company and property levels to assure the success of the organization.
  • Clean turnover apartments.
  • Assist the Maintenance Technicians when necessary.
  • Communicate to Property Manager or Service Manager any problems that require further attention.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Valid Driver's License.

Positive Attitude and Willingness to help where needed.

Ability to successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
