Position Title: Office Manager Controller with Marketing Email Duties

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Office Manager Controller to oversee all administrative functions of our organization, including marketing email duties.
Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong accounting skills and work experience to efficiently manage our office operations, along with contributing to marketing email campaigns. The ideal candidate will be organized, proficient with database management and spreadsheets, able to work well under pressure, and possess marketing email expertise.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Handle timely and accurate invoicing, check preparation, and mailing.
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, payroll, and other accounting-related matters.
- Prepare and distribute year-end 1099s and W2s.
- Reconcile monthly bank statements and oversee general banking activities.
- Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks such as electronic file maintenance, answering phones, and monitoring mail.
- Contribute to the development and execution of marketing email campaigns.
- Create engaging content for marketing emails to promote magazine subscriptions, events, and advertising opportunities.
- Utilize email marketing software (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) to design, send, and track email campaigns.
- Segment email lists based on audience demographics and engagement metrics to optimize campaign performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or business administration.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Experience with CRMs and Goldmine is beneficial.
- Strong integrity and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience with marketing email campaigns and email marketing software.
