Infusion Pharmacist

Description:
A large managed care organization has a Full-time CONTRACT Position for a skilled and dedicated Infusion Pharmacist.
-Experience in clinical management of patient care – hospital, long term care and home infusion preferred, experience with IV Dispensing Data program
-Will be working with a team of 5 Pharmacists and 8 Pharmacy Technicians
Responsibilities:
-Clinical management of patient care monitoring
-Performing ongoing clinical assessments to meet accreditation requirements
-Standard prescription processing for IV Medications
-Calculating dosing for therapeutic narrow margined therapies
-Medication Reconciliation
Experience:
-2 to 3 years or more experience in the clinical management of patient therapy
-Experience in Microsoft Office Suite: Word and Excel -Experience in fast pace environment, knowledge of working with Medication Computer System
Schedule: 10am to 6:30pm or negotiable from 8:30am to 10 am start
