Job Description
The Captain has the responsibility of maintaining the professional standards of the flight crews under the Director of Operations' authority, including authority over the Second In Command (SIC).
The following are the Captain's duties:
• Assisting in the recruitment process for the PC-12 aircraft
• Conducting reference checks on potential new hires
• Managing flight releases and flight tracking
• Acting as a liaison for pilots regarding technical issues
• Managing pilot relationships and fostering open communication.
Qualifications
The following are the requirements for pilots interested in positions such as Chief Pilot, PC-12, Citation XLS - CE-560, and Citation X (10) - CE 750: -
The candidate must hold a valid Commercial Pilot or ATP Certificate.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience directly related to 135 training or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- The candidate should be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the 135-operation environment.
- A minimum of 500 hours of total flight time is necessary.
- The candidate must have no accidents or incidents within the last five years.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- The applicant should possess the ability to communicate verbally via telephone, email, and in-person.
- Strong planning and organizational skills are required.
- The applicant must be proficient with MS, Jet Insight, and other relevant software.
