Job Summary:
Our client, a growing company, is seeking a motivated and intellectually curious Strategic Consulting Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess strong research skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently. The primary responsibility of the analyst will be to develop and implement strategic plans for the company. This role requires a diligent work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments. The analyst will also be involved in creating pilot programs and introducing new products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research on market conditions, industry trends, and competitive landscape
- Develop strategic plans and provide recommendations to drive business growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement pilot programs and new product initiatives
- Analyze financial data and conduct economic analysis to support decision-making
- Utilize advanced Excel skills for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling
- Break down complex problems, conduct research, and provide innovative solutions
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and across departments
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Work self-directed while also being a valuable contributor to group projects and teams
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and leadership abilities to inspire confidence and work effectively in a diverse, cross-cultural environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Master's Degree or MBA in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or related field strongly preferred)
- 3-5 years of professional experience in bank/economic analysis within a financial institution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to listen and follow instructions
- Proficiency in quantitative and analytical skills, including data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Excel
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to break down complex ideas and find practical solutions
- Highly organized and detail-oriented approach to work
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to excel both independently and in a team environment
- Proficient in Excel modeling, including lookup and index functions, pivot tables, charts, etc.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and leadership qualities to foster collaboration and work effectively with diverse groups
