Job Description

Surface Mount Technician

Shift:1st and 3rd shift

Pay: $19-$23/hour based on experience

Job Description:

Run the Surface Mount Technology Line and load component
Perform cleaning, changeover, and preventative maintenance/minor repairs of surface mount equipment
Complete production related documents
Change machinery to accommodate different products
Visually inspect boards to ensure quality
Keep a well organized work area

Required Experience:

2-5+ years of automotive electronics manufacturing with PCB manufacturing experience
Understanding of basic electronics and PCB assemblies
Ability to learn and operate technical equipment independently is required
Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on SMT equipment independently is preferred

Physical Requirements:

Able to stand for extended periods of time
Able to lift up to 40 pounds
Have specific vision abilities related to depth perception and color vision
Comfortable working in a factory environment with moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels
Position may require travel, occasionally overnight, to perform essential functions
Position may require overtime on little or no notice, and work varied shifts to conduct duties
