What Youโ€™ll Work On
The Surface Mount Machine Operator uses specialized automated equipment according to established processes to manufacture printed circuit assemblies. The Surface Mount Machine Operator is required to work efficiently and productively on their own and in group situations where individuals have common production goals. This position requires training on multiple production machines and processes which enable the operator to be reassigned according to demand. Both individual and group performance is monitored, measured, and reported including measures for quality workmanship and process efficiency.
Youโ€™ll Support Your Team by Performing the Following Key Tasks
  • Build products according to standardized production processes for product quality and performance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Report variances in production processes and quality that vary from established standards.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities and training.
  • Perform all tasks as assigned by supervisor.
  • Work towards advancement to Electronics Assembler II responsibilities.
What We're Looking For
  • High School Graduate or GED Certificate.
  • 1-3 years of electronic or general manufacturing experience.
  • Hand soldering experience, preferred.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001:2015.
  • Ability to read and interpret instruction documents written in the English language.
  • Effective English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out written and oral instructions.
  • Excellent hand eye coordination and dexterity.
  • Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
  • Able to accept constructive coaching pertaining to performance and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Work under the pressure of time sensitive deadlines without compromising quality.
  • IPC 610-D standards and practical training preferred.
  • IPC WHMA-A-620 standards and practical training.
