Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find motivated and dependable Weavers in Thomaston, GA. In this hands-on and fast-paced role, you will learn how to operate industrial weaving equipment, monitor production, identify quality issues, and help produce finished textile products in a climate-controlled facility. No previous weaving experience is required, and for the right person, opportunities to increase your pay and advance can happen very quickly. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.

In a Weaver job youll be responsible for:
  • Learn to operate and monitor industrial weaving equipment.

  • Monitor machines and production to ensure quality and efficiency.

  • Identify and correct basic production and quality issues.

  • Follow safety and production procedures.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Work as part of a team to meet production goals.

  • Complete all required training and demonstrate proficiency on assigned equipment.

What youll need:
  • Previous weaving or textile manufacturing experience is NOT required!

  • Weaving or manufacturing experience is a huge plus and may qualify you for higher starting pay.

  • Ability and willingness to learn industrial equipment and processes.

  • Strong attendance and punctuality are required.

  • No late arrivals or missed work during your first 90 days.

  • Maximum of 3 attendance strikes within your first 90 days.

  • Must pass a 7-year background check and drug screen.

  • Updated resume required.

  • Bilingual and Spanish-speaking candidates are welcomed and encouraged to apply!

  • Steel-toe boots are not required.

  • Comfortable work attire is permitted, including shorts.

Pay progression: First week of training is $14/hour. After graduating training, your base pay increases to $16$19/hour based on how well you perform during training, plus a $1/hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.
