SUMMARY

This position requires solid computer skills and the ability to multitask with simultaneously running processes.

Automated Band Saw Operator, Weld Ring Roller, Electrode Grinding, Fixture and Heat Treat Assembly/Disassembly, Heat Treat Operator, Oxidize Operator, Forklift operator


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Operate and troubleshoot issues as they arise with the heat-treat operation.
  • Operate a tape measure and computer interfaces.
  • Optimize work schedule to maximize uptime for heat treat.
  • Operate and effectively use heat treat software.
  • Must communicate effectively with other shifts to ensure heat treat runs smoothly and mistakes are avoided.
  • Work with the machining and scheduling department to prioritize operations.
  • Operate and effectively use the band saw software.
  • Operate and effectively use a manual lathe to roll copper and steel weld rings.
  • Must work very closely with the team leader and co-workers.
  • Must assist other operators and support production needs as required.
  • Thrive on challenges.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced, ever changing, environment.
  • Always be willing to work overtime as required.
  • Maintain an organized and orderly work area.
  • Perform other duties assigned by Team Leader/Manager.
