Job Summary

The SMT Operator  position is responsible for supporting the setup, operation, and maintenance of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment. This role is essential for ensuring efficient production and consistent quality of electronic components within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
 

Key Responsibilities 

· Operate and maintain SMT equipment to ensure the efficient production of high-quality electronic components

· Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance

· Monitor production processes to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner

· Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

· Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and achieve production goals

· Maintain accurate production records and reports.

· Assist with companywide tasks.


Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

· Previous experience operating SMT equipment


Physical Requirements

· Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. 

· Manual dexterity and the ability to work with small electronic components and equipment.
