Job Description

Our office is expanding, and we are looking for dynamic, loving, and caring Medical Assistant to join our team. SuperKids Pediatrics provides high-quality primary pediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents.

The Medical Assistant will have multiple job duties, which can be divided into 3 different categories as follows:

Clinical: Preparing patients for examinations, taking medical histories, assisting the physician during examinations and procedures, explaining medical procedures to patients, administration of injections, nebulizer therapies, specimen collection & handling, performing screening examinations, and removing sutures among others.
Administrative: Maintaining patient medical records, updating patient files, scheduling medical tests, patient care coordination, arranging for hospital admissions, and assisting with specialist referrals.
Clerical: answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting patients, preparing exams rooms, cross-training in other areas, inventory management, and other duties.
