Job Overview

We are seeking a talented, experienced and detail-oriented Data Analyst Veteran to join our team. As a Data Analyst at Berry Law, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that support our legal strategies and decision-making processes.

Cut from the Professional Services Cloth: We need a person who's navigated the high seas of professional services. Whether they've crunched numbers for consulting giants, finessed financial data, or unwrapped the complexities in legal services, they know the drill. It's about having that sixth sense for the industry's pulse and translating data into the kind of insights that move the needle.

Learning from the Oops Moments: Ever chased down a data rabbit hole only to find it was the wrong one? Perfect. We want someone who's not just been there but has come out the other side wiser, with a knack for sniffing out the right data from the get-go. It's about turning those facepalm moments into gold by tweaking, adjusting, and sometimes overhauling the approach to data collection and analysis.

Seeking Independent Data Analysis Enthusiasts: No formal data science badge? No problem. While we're not specifically requiring data science expertise, we highly value individuals who have proactively engaged in data analysis. We're seeking candidates who have demonstrated their passion and proficiency in data analysis through independent initiatives. Whether it's through online courses, certifications, or personal projects burning the midnight oil, we value those who've taken the initiative to deepen their understanding and application of data analysis principles, even without official accreditation. Data analysis, which involves examining and interpreting data to extract insights and inform decision-making, is a crucial aspect of our work. While data science encompasses a broader range of skills and techniques, including advanced statistical modeling and machine learning, proficiency in data analysis is fundamental to the role we're seeking to fill.

Soft Skills That Make Data Sing: Last but not least, we need a maestro of communication, someone who can take the complex concertos of data insights and turn them into melodies that even the non-techies can hum along to. Empathy, the ability to walk in others' shoes and see the data through their eyes, and a knack for crafting stories that stick, are all part of the mix. Plus, we're all about those who've made tangible waves, leaving a trail of positive impacts on their projects and teams.

In essence, we're looking for that rare breed who bridges the gap between data analysis and data science, armed with the soft skills to make insights accessible and actionable. Someone who's not just in it for the data dives but is genuinely pumped about leveraging information to drive our professional services sphere forward.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
