Job description

Summary/Objective:

The Network Data Analyst is responsible for delivering highquality data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence solutions that support the organization’s financial, operational, and clinical functions. This role focuses on the collection, validation, analysis, and visualization of data using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Power BI, and other Microsoft BI tools. The analyst will work extensively with data from the agency’s EHR system and other internal sources to produce accurate, timely, and actionable insights.

This position also supports performance measurement, quality improvement initiatives, and may perform Quality Analyst duties as needed - particularly in areas related to data integrity, compliance, and outcome tracking for an IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) service environment.

The Data Analyst will design and maintain reports, dashboards, data feeds, and SQLbased solutions, while collaborating with leadership to identify trends, solve problems, and guide decisionmaking across the organization.

Essential Functions (Job Duties):

Reporting & Business Intelligence

· Develops clear, accurate, and visually compelling reports and dashboards using Power BI, SSMS, SSRS, and other analytic tools.

· Designs, develops, and maintains SQL queries, stored procedures, and data processes to support reporting and analytics.

· Builds and maintains automated reporting solutions that meet established business requirements.

· Tests, validates, and implements business intelligence solutions, ensuring ongoing accuracy and usability.

Data Analysis & Interpretation

· Extracts, analyzes, and interprets healthcare, operational, and financial data from EHR and other systems.

· Conducts routine and advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

· Performs data validation, quality checks, and rootcause analysis of data issues.

· Tracks and documents reporting defects, data quality concerns, and process errors.

Collaboration & Strategic Support

· Partners with leadership and management to ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and dissemination.

· Supports strategic initiatives with datadriven insights and reporting.

· Provides meaningful feedback on reporting capabilities, data needs, and opportunities for improvement.

· Assists internal departments with special projects, regulatory reporting, and adhoc analysis requests.

Quality & Compliance Support (as needed)

· Supports quality improvement activities by analyzing performance metrics and outcome data.

· Assists in monitoring compliancerelated data and documentation accuracy.

· Contributes to quality audits, performance dashboards, and improvement initiatives.

Technical Development

· Assists in the design and development of healthcare data feeds, interfaces, SQL Server data warehouses, and related data infrastructure.

· Creates effective charts, tables, presentations, and visualizations that clearly communicate analytic results.

Required Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Health Information Management or related discipline preferred; experience can be substituted on a case by case basis.

· Experience working with EMR/EHR databases preferred

· Proficiency with Microsoft Business Intelligence tools, including Power BI, SSMS, SSRS, and SQL development.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

· Experience creating SQL queries and stored procedures from scratch

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
