What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Defense and Security Segment, where the individual will collect and analyze data to identify trends, develop visualizations in support of organizational and mission goals, and support decision-making for large-scale programs within the Department of War (DoW). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading design and development of business intelligence (BI) data visualization and dashboard solutions to provide required analytics insights using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and/or Qlik. Identify, implement, test, and deploy enhancements to analytics dashboards.

  • Scope enhancements and incorporate persona-based input into analytics dashboard development efforts. Maintain stakeholder awareness forums and artifacts such as iteration meetings, informative landing pages, and status trackers.

  • Identifying and creating additional data visualization capabilities, as needed.

  • Ensuring data governance and quality assurance standards are met.

  • Performing advanced analytics on diverse disparate data to identify trends and advise senior leadership on policy and procedure.

  • Analyze data to identify trends and to assess the potential effects of those trends on client mission areas.

  • Analyzing current process and identifying potential improvements.

  • Working with team members to summarize and report on business process improvements to include gaps in current processes and initiatives to improve processes.

  • Organizing and leading client meetings, including scheduling meetings; drafting and delivering agendas and meeting minutes; providing and archiving required documentation; and documenting, tracking, and following-up on action items.

  • Summarizing and presenting information and reports to the team and make recommendations (both oral and written).

  • Participating in Ad hoc data projects and analyses that produce actionable recommendations that build relevant insights for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Collecting data and runs basic reports in response to client inquiries.

  • Working closely with key internal stakeholders to ensure sound knowledge of client requirements to support development of best-in-class analytical solutions.

  • Accurately entering required data into one or more databases, documents and/or spreadsheets.

  • Supporting data acquisition, governance, privacy protection, and data model sustainment. Implement data model enhancements in line with emerging policy and programmatic requirements.

  • Supporting full lifecycle of data engineering activities, to include, but not limited to, qualification of data sources, increasing the availability, accessibility, and quality of client data.

What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.

    • Once onboard with Guidehouse, new hire MUSTbe able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI)" security clearance.

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • TEN (10) or more years of experience in data analytics/analysis -OR- a Master's degree with EIGHT (8) or more years of experience in data analytics/analysis

  • Experience working with cyber workforce related data.

  • Proficiency using data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or others.
