Job description

Data Analyst

Location: Redmond, WA

Experience: 8-10 years

Job Description:

  • Perform data analysis and provide actionable insights.
  • Perform trend analysis and identify patterns.
  • Suggest the data visualization team in building required KPI's and visualization.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and present findings.
  • Ability to create excel or power bi reports as needed.
  • Perform data validation to ascertain data quality and data integrity before commencing any data analysis.
  • Coordinate and communicate between business users and the data engineering teams.
  • Manage stakeholder communications and helping implement solutions/features on time.
  • Ability to guide junior developers in the team.
  • Ability to organize and lead meetings with business and operational data-owners.
  • Work closely with business stakeholder and data engineering team to document business processes.
  • Help form data management and governance processes within the data engineering team.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues.

Skills:

  • 8+ years in data analytics and SQL
  • 6+ years of experience building Power BI reports including data import, transformations, mapping.
  • 6+ years of experience in working with SSAS Tabular / Multi-dimensional cubes.
  • 6+ years of experience in working with Big Data Technologies (Azure Data Explorer / Cosmos preferable) - Good to have
  • Ability to analyze, model and interpret data.

ADF (Azure Data Factory) is a nice to have skillset, but strong Data Analyst with (T-SQL, Power BI, Analyst Experience) is a MUST.
