Senior Mold Maker

Skills & Experience required include:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5-10+ years’ experience in building, analyzing, assembly, and repairing complex injection molds.
• Solid experience with close tolerance grinding & basic milling.
• Experience inspecting finished parts for quality and accuracy.
• Ability to mentor less experienced mold makers and apprentices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with CAD is a plus (including: Cimatron, ESPRIT, WorkNC & SURFCAM)

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Perform close tolerance grinding and basic machining to hold tight tolerance of mold components.
• Responsible for inspection, quality, and accuracy of finished parts.
• Analyze and repair complex injection molds.
• Utilize CAD software.
• Assist in new job planning and routing.
• Ability to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment in accordance to our safety standards.
• Responsible for final fitting and assembly of new tools.
• Disassemble, clean, and assist in assembly when required.
