About the opportunity:
Hybrid Pathways, a New Era company, is seeking a a well-rounded Solution Architect/Systems Engineer for a staff augmentation role, to help team architect, engineer, and deploy Windows Hello for Business. This is a 3-month remote project opportunity.

Required Skills
  • Help Architect/Engineer and Deploy solution for large scale deployment of Windows Hello for Business
  • Troubleshoot/problem resolution of defects, enrollment bugs, etc.

Required Skills
  • Microsoft Active Directory: Understanding of Active Directory services for user authentication and management.
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM): Knowledge of IAM principles and practices, including authentication methods, access controls, and identity federation.
  • Windows Server: Proficiency in configuring and managing Windows Server environments, including Group Policy, Certificate Services, and Domain Controllers.
  • Security: Understanding of security best practices and principles, including encryption, multi-factor authentication, and security policies.
  • Windows Client Operating Systems: Familiarity with deploying and managing Windows client operating systems, especially Windows 10 and 11, which supports Windows Hello.
  • Public Key Infrastructure (PKI): Knowledge of PKI concepts and implementation, including certificate issuance, revocation, and management.
  • Networking: Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols.
  • Deployment Tools: Experience with deployment tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly SCCM) or Microsoft Intune for deploying Windows Hello for Business configurations.
  • User Experience: Ability to design and implement user-friendly experiences for users enrolling in and using Windows Hello for Business.
  • Troubleshooting: Proficiency in troubleshooting issues related to Windows Hello for Business deployment, including certificate errors, authentication failures, and compatibility issues.
  • Compliance and Governance: Knowledge of compliance requirements and governance frameworks related to identity and access management, including GDPR, HIPAA, and industry-specific regulations.
  • Continuous Learning: Given the evolving nature of technology, a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest developments and best practices in identity and access management, cybersecurity, and Microsoft technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Entra ID, Active Directory, and Windows Hello for Business
  • Ability to lead
  • Strong communicator

Required Education
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education, and work experience.”
