Construction Superintendent (Senior Field Manager)

Our client is seeking a Senior Construction Superintendent to join their team! You will monitor and oversee construction activities at the commercial construction sites. This will include overall project planning, scheduling and budgeting, while managing 3 to 5 employees.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Typically supervise 3-5 direct reports
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors, working with Architects, Engineers and Owners
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

• Requires 15+ years experience in construction management or other related fields
• Familiarity with construction management software
• Creating and monitoring "look ahead" schedules, posting updated drawings, and performing Quality Control Audits
• Scheduling City and Special Inspectors
• Hosting foreman's meetings, and Pre-Construction meetings
• Undestanding and management of budgets and profit plan
• Deadline and detail-oriented
