Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and experienced Asphalt Superintendent to oversee all aspects of asphalt paving projects in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asphalt paving operations, including site preparation, paving, and quality control. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team of paving professionals and play a key role in the successful completion of projects throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of asphalt paving projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
• Oversee asphalt paving crews, ensuring that work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and budgetary performance, identifying potential risks or delays and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status, address concerns or requests, and ensure overall satisfaction.
• Mentor and train paving crew members, providing guidance and support to promote professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in asphalt paving operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of asphalt paving techniques, equipment, and materials.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite.
