INVENTORY SPECIALIST
- $18 to $20 Hourly
- Full-Time
This position is responsible for performing various key tasks such as conducting inventory counts, kitting Work Orders and assembling labels. This position also interacts with the Production Department regarding their inventory needs throughout the day.
- Assists in receiving in product daily.
- Daily cycle count.
- Helps to ensure that all minimum levels are kept stocked by performing inventory counts, communicate any short levels to purchasing agents.
- Make sure that all kits are pulled and will communicate anything that is in short supply.
- Pull orders for production.
- Inform purchasing agent when items are missing on the Item Adjustment Card for correction.
- Acts as a security person to ensure that no one removes any parts from inventory without authorization.
- Make sure all bins/boxes are clearly marked/labeled with a part number.
- Continuous improvement and update of daily cycle count process.
- Responsible for year-end inventory count.
- Accurately track and report all inventory transactions using the company ERP system.

Education/ Experience: High School Education or equivalent
Transportation: Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, sea, rail, or road, including the relative costs and benefits.
Language Skills: Ability to read and understand business correspondence as it relates to the job function and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Sinclair personnel.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, and listen. The employee must be able to ascend and descend stairs. Employee will use hands and fingers to feel, squeeze, grip product. Employee must be able to sit for prolonged period of time. The employee is occasionally required to sit and reach above shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities by this job include close visions, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
