VEHICLE INVENTORY SPECIALIST

About the Role

We are seeking a detail oriented, organized, and dependable Vehicle Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring all vehicle inventory is accurately tracked, professionally presented, and ready for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Accuracy and Documentation
• Compare VINs of incoming vehicles against invoices
• Inspect incoming units for damage and verify all listed accessories are present
• Document any damage or missing items on delivery receipts
• Assign stock numbers and maintain accurate vehicle records in systems such as Tekion and other internal platforms
• Update pricing, packages, and online vehicle listings
• Assist with monthly and quarterly inventory audits

Lot Organization and Vehicle Movement
• Park new vehicles in designated areas for optimal layout and accessibility
• Move sold vehicles to appropriate locations to maximize space and maintain a clean lot
• Assist sales team with delivery preparation as needed
• Catalog, organize, and securely store all vehicle keys
• Maintain overall organization and appearance of inventory lots

Vehicle Condition and Presentation
• Assist with vehicle check ins, including verifying equipment and checking for transport damage
• Apply window labels, stock tags, and merchandising materials
• Perform light upkeep on vehicles to maintain battery life, tire condition, and exterior appearance
• Ensure all inventory is presentation ready for clients and test drives

Team Collaboration
• Work closely with Sales, Service, and Marketing teams on incoming and outgoing units
• Assist with special projects assigned by management
• Provide support across departments as needed
