JOB TITLE: Solution Consultant

JOB LOCATION: Remote – U.S. Based

TRAVEL: up to 20%

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Solution Consultant gathers customer motor carrier and motor vehicle services business requirements and helps the technical team design solutions to meet customer needs. Ensures all assigned work functions per the design. Assures technical team members build and test solution to design standards. Accountable for the successful implementation of customer solutions. Regularly interacts with internal and external stakeholders. Works with Project Manager to oversee solution delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops an in-depth understanding of the motor carrier and motor vehicle software offerings; understands how the software will meet customer requirements and where there are gaps to be addressed.
• Provides expert guidance on the integration and implementation of i3 Vertical’s business solutions into a wide variety of customer environments using a combination of waterfall and agile principles.
• Performs examination and evaluation of current systems to identify technical and functional requirements.
• Establishes and maintains customer relationship throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Provides assistance and guidance to the implementation and development project team throughout the life of the project.
• Leads requirements gathering and process mapping workshops.
• Understand contract requirements and adhere to contracted scope.
• Sets the long-term vision for the solution and project to ensure end user adoption.
• Develops, writes, and maintains interface and requirements documentation.
• Provides guidance to project team members on developing, testing, installing and modifying programs.
• Demonstrates to customer and consult with customer on build progress and collect feedback on work completed.
• Tracks and documents change to functional and technical specifications.
• Coordinates system integration and user acceptance testing.
• Facilitates internal and external (customer) meetings.
• Works with Project Manager to ensure project success in the realms of scope, cost and time.
• Works with Project Manager to field requirements for project change requests and write up details.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience doing business analysis, system architecture or solution consulting.
