Senior Production Associate

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Production Associate to join our company to bring disruptive technologies to the life science market. The company was founded by academic and industrial pioneers in life science technologies. The leadership team includes seasoned biotech entrepreneurs and reputable inventors with a strong track record of bringing innovative technologies from concept to commercialization.

In this role, you will: 

• Support all operation functional teams from receiving, assembly, and functional tests, to kitting
• Manage inventory and non-inventory items
• Maintain and execute production Batch Records, or Work Instructions, in a GMP environment
• Track production metrics, test data, and inventory accurately
• Set up new PN definition, and inventory transactions to support NPI efforts
• Support BOM setup and Material Resource Planning (MRP)
• Manipulate and handle delicate, sensitive, fragile, and small foot-print materials
• Formulate and dispense various reagents and buffers from dry powder or liquid raw materials
• Perform small-scale oligo synthesis process
• Operate complex fluidic systems including system maintenance
• Collaborate and support other functional teams to accomplish production goals 
• Assist in revising and drafting BR and WI
• Perform and track lab equipment per PM schedule
• Support and lead NCMR, Deviation, ECO, and CAPA as needed
• Support and execute IQ/OQ/PQs process as appropriate
• Contribute to building the culture of a fast-growing company

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree of Science in STEM 
• 4+ years of GMP, or ISO 9001 experience
• Taken college chemistry courses, or organic chemistry
• Experience with NGS and/or oligo synthesis process – enzymes, fluorescence dyes, oligos, etc. 
• Experience with liquid handling systems – Hamilton, HPLC, etc.
• Great attention to detail, and an ability to follow protocols 
• Good dexterity and hands-on experience with manipulating small sensitive objects in a clean laboratory environment 
• Experience with physical material movement workflow in an ERP equivalent system
• Basic understanding of fluid mechanic properties - flow rate, density, pressure, and viscosity
• Basic understanding of automation workflow concepts and requirements
• Basic understanding of a quality management system
• Demonstrated continuous improvement success
• A desire to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
• An ability to acquire new skill sets, and knowledge quickly
• Excellent written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills
• A great team player attitude
• Ability to lift 20 - 50 pounds

The Base Salary Range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000. Curio Bioscience considers various factors, including professional background and work experience, when determining base pay. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary.
