Manager, Finance

We are seeking a strategic and inspirational Manager, Finance to join our dynamic team.

The Manager, Finance is a key member of the global finance team and is responsible for leading a team that influences and supports business decisions that help Build-A-Bear achieve its strategic financial objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and review of the consolidated financial statements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements in all financial reporting activities
• Maintain and enforce company policies
• Lead global monthly financial close process
• Manage and review worked performed by direct reports
• Establish, maintain and document internal and external controls within areas of responsibility
• Participate in the implementation and development of finance/accounting systems

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6-8 years experience in preparation of consolidated financial statements
• Skilled in Excel
• Expert financial modeling, analysis and forecasting skills
• Proven leadership ability

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate Degree
• CPA
• 8-10 years experience
• 3+ years of management experience
