Senior Financial Analyst

To continue making an impact, they are currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst.

You will collaborate with experts around the globe to support our research scientists.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, with expert business acumen, able to work independently and drive results in a collaborative complex and matrixed environment.

• Support Global R&D month-end closing and provide monthly financial reporting analysis
• Support financial planning process including monthly reporting of actuals versus budget, mid-year forecast, and annual budget process.
• Maintain and improve detailed financial models that track and analyze key metrics that impact Global R&D’s financial performance and resource allocations.
• Demonstrated outstanding analytical skills, strategic thinking, and command of the financial details
• Complete frequent ad-hoc projects to enable key stakeholders to make high-quality decisions, for example, ad-hoc projects on royalty revenue, innovation cost analytics, etc.
• Ensure Global R&D complies with all policies, controls, and standard operating procedures in alignment with Global Controllership direction
• Consistently and proactively drive process improvements identify issues and implement solutions.
• Support analysis, reporting, and Capex and Opex projects related to financial implications of all R&D functions.
• Represents the client in an ethical and business-like professional manner in all interactions with growers, co-workers, suppliers, customers, and the business community at large.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, and/or Accounting. MBA/CPA is a plus.
• 5+ years of progressive finance, accounting, or related analytical fields.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, management accounting, financial and managerial reporting.
• Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Experience with inter-company transactions and consolidations.
• Ability to meet stringent deadlines and work in a fast-paced global environment.
• Required excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience with Hyperion and Tableau.
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with large data sets to perform data analysis, data visualization, and financial modeling.
• Proven track record of strong project management skills.
• Strong collaboration/ interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong team spirit and ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
