Litigation Paralegal

A prestigious law firm in the DC area is seeking a litigation paralegal to join their team. This role would collaborate closely with attorneys, contributing to various case teams. Ideal for a detail-oriented individual with solid litigation skills and a proactive attitude. Remote work is common, so familiarity with and adaptability to remote culture is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize, plan, and execute projects with initiative and proficiency.
• Navigate court systems and alternative dispute resolution methods effectively.
• Utilize legal research tools and online databases proficiently.
• Handle legal filings, briefings, and citation processes accurately.
• Assist in discovery processes, including document management and deposition preparation.
• Provide guidance to junior team members, manage deadlines, and foster a collaborative environment.
• Participate in professional development activities and maintain awareness of departmental goals and responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 years of full cycle litigation experience
• Citchecking / Bluebooking preferred
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in eDiscovery applications, document management platforms, Adobe, and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work overtime and be present in the office at least 2 days a week, with flexibility based on firm and case needs.
