Senior Product Design Engineer- BS Mechanical Engineering - Injection molded plastic products. Mechanical design and creation of plastic and metal products. SolidWorks. Product development. Theoretical testing on design models. Ways to change design of product to reduce manufacturing cost and to change manufacturing methods to minimize cost of desired product. Analyze competing products. Provide production support, customer service support, product updates, and compliance analysis. Design ideas based on customer interests, budgets, and market research. Full product designs and specifications using software modeling techniques. Select product materials and design product manufacturing process. Product production implementation and validation /testing. Develop proactive and corrective action plans in conjunction with Quality Assurance. Mechanical Engineer in manufacturing. Injection molding and metal forming. Product design & manufacturing implementation. SolidWorks. Create drawings for turnkey component & assembly construction. BS ME. Metals, injection molding, blow molding plastics. Oversee designs completely through the manufacturing process, testing, end quality of product, etc.
