We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Product Manager ("PM") to join WorkForce Software in our talented Product Management team. The WorkForce Suite is the industry leading WFM solution for enterprise businesses globally. In this role, you will specifically own and contribute to labor compliance in South America as part of the WorkForce Suite.

As a Product Manager with WorkForce Software, you will use your demonstrated knowledge of product management, agile methodology and frameworks, planning, data, deep understanding of our customers, and interpersonal skills to create and manage product artifacts (epics, features, hypothesis statements, user stories, etc.) for development by our engineering teams. You will be responsible for ensuring that our products exceed expectations by working closely with business partners, users, design, and development teams with strategic measurement of Objectives and Key Results.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the evolution of your products or features serving as a subject matter expert and "voice of the market"
  • Be responsible for driving the vision, market strategy, design, implementation, and sustainment of products with leadership and delivery teams
  • Prioritize, refine, and manage the product backlog (ideas, epics, features, hypothesis statements, stories, etc.)
  • Champion agile methodologies and lean practices among business and technical partners as well as peers
  • Work with other product managers, scrum masters, design, and delivery teams to ensure product artifacts meet the definition of ready and definition of done
  • Develop and track progress against a product roadmap to build enhancing capabilities over time
  • Develop new product ideas, use cases, and features by understanding the problems to be solved, value, and data to support your hypotheses
  • Define and set clear OKRs for your product to align the team and achieve results
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for your product or features
  • Understand market needs with the use of data and analytics
  • Balance commercial, technical, operational, and strategic needs to inform product improvements
  • Manage impediments and problems, resolve issues, and provide solutions for areas of opportunity in the execution phase of a product
  • Ensure effective quarterly planning and outcomes are conducted successfully for your products
  • Be open to feedback from business partners, teams, and peers; willing to give feedback
  • Participate in agile ceremonies; provide coaching where applicable
  • Align with other product managers or members of the organization when needed from an overall product, company, or customer perspective
  • Establish business relationships and collaborate cross-functionally to arrive at optimal outcomes for both products and customers


Requirements
  • Fluent in Spanish and English. Familiarity with Portuguese preferred
  • In-depth understanding of labor and employment regulations, especially those related to time tracking, overtime, and wage compliance, particularly in Chile and Brazil
  • Familiarity with data protection laws, including GDPR, as they relate to the collection and processing of employee time data
  • Experience working with customers and stakeholders at an intimate and consultative level, ideally in enterprise software or B2B SaaS products.
  • Possess high levels of ownership, adaptability, and attention to detail
  • Experienced in all areas of the Product Process (all phases in both strategy and execution)
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
  • Ability to balance multiple competing priorities while maximizing value
  • Experienced across a wide array of SDLC practices such as agile, waterfall, and corresponding frameworks
  • Knowledge and experience with translating data and analytics into insights
  • Ability to define, quantify, drive, and champion value add product strategies
  • Ability to develop and oversee research needed to determine the needs and desires of customers
  • Ability to develop deep business expertise and provide thought partnership around our products and features
  • Ability to perform across multiple phases of development for complex efforts, from ideation to launch
  • Experienced in project management practices, methodologies, and frameworks
  • Genuine empathy for the customer and a commitment to delving deep into the challenges they present or experience
  • Proven ability to work and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including story-telling, relationship-building, influence and negotiation
  • Proven track record of products managed, launched, or developed (working samples may be asked for during interview process)


Desired Skills
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification
  • SAFe Agilist certified
  • Understanding of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, Miro, ProductBoard, among others
  • Peripheral certifications such as CSM, PMP, CBAP, etc.


Travel
  • Flexibility to accommodate domestic and international business travel as required (10%-20% of time)


Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
