The “Second ACTS” thrift store is non-profit and supports the programs of ACTS that make a difference in the lives of our neighbors in crisis. The Thrift Store and Donation Assistant processes donated clothes and other items for sale and assists customers. They answer customer questions, operate the cash register, and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the facility where they are assigned to ensure customers have a satisfactory shopping experience and staff are safe. The Thrift Store and Donation Assistant also receives and sorts donations as well as pricing, merchandising and inventorying stock at both the Donation Center and the Thrift Store.

Position Title: PT Thrift Store and Donation Assistant
Division/Department: Operations
Reports to: Thrift Store Manager
Salary: $16.83/hour ($17.33 for bilingual English and Spanish, French or Arabic speakers)
Hours per week: 20 hours
Schedule: Monday through Saturday – most work schedules between 12 p.m. and 8 p.m.
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt (OT eligible)
