Production/ Fabrication Lead

Spaceworx is seeking a Production/Fabrication Lead to join our team and oversee our manufacturing operations. As a Production/Fabrication Lead, you will be responsible for managing the production process, coordinating with the fabrication team, and ensuring the timely completion of projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Oversee the production process and ensure efficient workflow
• Coordinate with the fabrication team to ensure timely completion of projects
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of materials and supplies
• Train and mentor new employees in fabrication techniques and safety procedures
• Enforce quality standards and perform quality checks on finished products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Prior experience in a production or fabrication leadership role
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques
• Experience in the modular furniture or millwork industry is preferred
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with inventory management and cost control
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
