Field Service Technician

Join our team as a Maintenance Field Service Technician responsible for handling Field Service activities on gas turbine-powered aircraft in a specified geographic region. Troubleshooting, problem-solving, engine changes, repairs, and scheduled inspections will be key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities:

• Complete inspection, troubleshooting, adjustment, and repair of engines and related components following manufacturers' guidelines.
• Ensure professionalism in customer interactions, adhering to approved modification specifications.
• Conduct inspections post-engine repairs, oversee powerplant installations, and provide airworthiness certifications.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders to drive business growth and development.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• 2-3 years of relevant service experience in the aviation industry.
• Experience with HTF7000 series, TFE731, and APU preferred. AS907 and CFM 34 experience is a plus.

Skills and Competencies:

• A&P license required.
• Technical knowledge of aircraft turbine engines.
• Proficiency in English language, both verbal and written.
• Valid driver's license and effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; ability to learn industry-specific software.
  

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and perform physical tasks in field locations.
• Comfort working in various environments, including exposure to noise and weather conditions.
• Travel requirement of 70-90% of the time.
