1. *Machine Setup:* Prepare SMT machines for production runs by loading necessary materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment according to job specifications.
2. *Production Operation:* Operate SMT machines to place surface mount components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) accurately and efficiently. Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality and efficiency standards.
3. *Quality Assurance:* Inspect completed assemblies for defects or irregularities, such as misaligned components or soldering issues. Conduct visual inspections and utilize testing equipment as needed to maintain product quality.
4. *Troubleshooting:* Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or process errors that may affect production efficiency or product quality. Perform basic repairs or adjustments to machinery as necessary.
5. *Material Handling:* Handle and manage inventory of SMT materials, including surface mount components, solder paste, and PCBs. Ensure proper storage, handling, and replenishment of materials to support continuous production flow.
6. *Documentation:* Maintain accurate records of production activities, including job setups, material usage, and quality inspection results. Complete production logs, reports, and documentation as required by company procedures.
7. *Safety and Compliance:* Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and industry best practices to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
